St. Patrick’s Day Craft – Pieces of Gold
What truly matters to your students? The Pieces of Gold St. Patrick’s Day Craft gives them a chance to pause, reflect, and put their thoughts into words. Students create a simple craft where each “piece of gold” represents something meaningful in their lives, helping them think beyond surface-level answers.

This activity works well throughout March and pairs nicely with growth mindset lessons, classroom community building, or social-emotional learning discussions. It’s flexible enough to fit into different schedules and routines.
While the Pieces of Gold craft can be used as a “growing craftivity” that students add to over multiple days, it can just as easily be completed in a single class period. When finished, it becomes a thoughtful keepsake that families enjoy seeing, and students feel proud to share.
