What do students value in their lives? Find out with this Pieces of Gold St. Patrick’s Day Craft. Students construct a craft where they list what they value. This is a great craft that can use used throughout the month of March and aligns well with other growth mindset activities.
While the Pieces of Gold St. Patrick’s Craftivity is a “growing craftivity” that students add to each day of the month, it can also be completed in one class period. This crativity also makes a great family keepsake.
Brainstorm and create an anchor chart of all the things your class values. Use the pieces of the craftivity on the anchor chart AND on student pages. Students can also use the graphic organizer to list their specific ideas before writing on their gold coins.
This St. Patrick’s Day craftivity includes:
☘Teacher Notes with anchor chart ideas and a list of what students might value.
☘Graphic Organizer where students list the people, things, and abilities they value the most.
☘A variety of craft components including: pots, coins, rainbows, clouds, sun, and raindrops. The craft is designed to fit on a 12×18 pieces of paper. Students can be creative in their selection and arrangement of the components. Sample arrangements are in the PREVIEW file.
