I just did this with my 1st graders today, and they LOVED IT! I let them color the clover on the front any color they wanted to, so that their own personalities can shine 🙂 They had such a fun time coming up with a list of why they were lucky and it was a great opportunity to teach them how lucky they are to be able to come to school every day, for families that take care of them, and how they are lucky to be able to give things or food to others who need it! Definitely doing this project every year! One minor update I would make would be to maybe add lines on to the inside part where the students write. My 1st graders had a little bit of trouble fitting in their sentence if they did not start at the top. It was really my fault, I didn’t think about that till they had already started! Just a suggestion, definitely does not take anything away from the activity though!!!!
