- Students will work together to investigate natural hazards. They will do this by making a seismograph and by observing what happens when a stream overflows its banks.
- Students will gather general information about natural hazards.
- Students will begin to think about how natural hazards affect people.
- Students will analyze and interpret data to provide evidence that natural hazards can affect people in different ways.

- Part 2 (Read This): 15 minutes

Objectives:
- Students will work collaboratively to observe natural hazards.
