Halloween Treat Bag – Treat Others with Kindness Craft
Elementary students will enjoy this fun Halloween Craftivity that encourages acts of kindness and turning “tricks” into treats. Students create a Halloween treat bag filled with memories of kindness and ways to be kind to others.

Included in the Halloween Treat Bag
Included in this Halloween Bag Craftivity are three pages, a handle, as well as graphic organizers, reflection pages, and suggestions for acts of kindness.
Attach the craft to a real paper bag and make it even more functional! Display the bags on a wall and students can write words of encouragement to each other, like a bucket filler activity!
Halloween Bag Cover
The Halloween Treat Bag comes with four different cover options. Three are filled. One has a drawing option where students can draw their own Halloween scenes.

Treat Bag Inside Pages
There are three pages on the inside where students turn tricks into treats, write three ways to show kindness, and reflect on a time when they have been kind to someone else and when someone has been kind to them.

Turn Tricks into Treats
This page has students turn “tricks” into treats. The tricks are things that have happened to people that make them sad. For instance, someone sitting by themselves at a lunch table or someone dropping his books.
Students choose three “tricks” and then write how to “treat” the person.

Treat Others with Kindness
On this page, students write about three ways that they can be kind to others. Students can use the enclosed graphic organizers or ideas and choose three options or come up with three of their own that are more personalized.

Memories of Kindness
This page is the same size as the Ways to be Kind. It has students reflect on a time when someone was kind to them and a time when they were kind to someone else. You can choose to use either of these two pages individually or together.

Also included, but not pictured
Also included in this resource is a graphic organizer to brainstorm acts of kindness, suggestions, and examples of acts of kindness and a reflection page to supplement the craftivity.

How to Purchase the Halloween Treat Bag Craftivity
The Halloween Treat Bag Craftivity can be purchased on my website or on Teachers Pay Teachers. It is available separately or as a BUNDLE with other seasonal craftivities.
This crativity pairs nicely with my other Halloween Craftivity, The Real Me, where students write and draw about what makes them unique, safe, and who helps them the most.
