Geosphere and Biosphere 5th Grade Earth Spheres Landforms Interactions Activity

In this modeling station, students read about how landforms affect the organisms that live in them and then use models to investigate what happens to the biosphere when the geosphere changes.

Each student or group is assigned a landform and uses the reading passage and optional research to describe its geosphere and biosphere attributes. Then a scenario changes the landform, students predict how organisms are affected, and they build a three-dimensional model of the landform after the change.
