This heart-shaped Valentine’s Day Flap Book helps students reflect on and describe what makes the people they care about special.

SMART Goals lessons help students understand what it means to set SMART goals. These five lessons have a whole group lesson plan as well as small group and individual activities to help students see and understand the individual components of setting SMART goals.
Through these lessons, students will have a deeper understanding of what it means to set Specific, Measureable, Realistic goals with an Action Plan and Time Limit.

Decompose Two-Digit Number Puzzles are a set of four-piece puzzles that develop students’ number sense for two-digit addition and subtraction.

Place Value Number Puzzles are a set of four-piece puzzles that develop students’ fluency with place value. Each puzzle has the number form, word form, base-10 blocks and expanded notation.

Two-Digit Addition Number Puzzles are a set of four-piece puzzles that develop students’ fluency and mental math strategies for two-digit addition.

Fractions Number Puzzles help students match fractions.

Two-Digit Subtraction Number Puzzles are a set of four-piece puzzles that develop students’ fluency and mental math strategies for two-digit subtraction.

Odd and Even Number Puzzles are a set of four-piece puzzles that develop students’ fluency with odd and even numbers from 1-20.
Money Puzzles offers students an opportunity to match two sets of coins to a money value. In addition students match the word form. There are four cards for each complete puzzle.

These Multiplication Number Puzzles help students match four multiplication representations or models. Included are: multiplication expression, area model, equal groups, and a number line with repeated addition. All multiplication equations between 2-10 are represented in the puzzles.

Time Puzzles are a set of three-piece puzzles that develop students’ fluency with analog and digital clocks.
The puzzles are built with three models: digital clock, analog clock and word form. Students can match all three pieces or concentrate two pieces at a time.
Number Puzzles are built with three to five pieces that illustrate a variety of models and strategies for second grade math concepts. They are great for math stations.

This Thankful Tree is a great craftivity to use during the month of November. It helps instill a thankful spirit throughout the month.
The Thankful Tree in this resource is for each individual student to create a family keepsake. Each day throughout the month of November, have students write one to two things they are thankful for. Add one idea per leaf and glue it to the tree. Send home the trees before the Thanksgiving holiday for families to enjoy at home.
