It is perfect for second through fourth grades and can be easily differentiated because each word problem contains blank spaces for the numbers.
Use the word problems in a math journal or as a stand-alone problem of the day. The format of these is perfect for Interactive Notebooks, as well.
These resources make a distinction between procedures (steps in solving a problem), models (which show the relationship between the numbers in the problem), and strategies for computation (such as count on, breaking part a number, etc.).
Included are a variety of models to use with students (all based on place value and base-10 strategies). Students are eventually encouraged to draw their own models.

I thought this was going to be a resource full of numberless word problems with some meat to the word problems where students were doing to have to really try to figure out what was important and what was not. The problems are extremely basic and the students don't have to grapple with the information at all.
