In this product, are four levels of two-digit subtraction equations that move from simple to complex. Also included are pre-/post-assessments and quick-assessments to monitor progress along the way. You can differentiate instruction based on what a student can and cannot add.
There are several strategies that are practiced through the activities in this packet: Use a Number Line, Use Base-10 Blocks, Break Apart (Ungroup) one or both numbers, and Tens to Tens & Ones to Ones, Think Addition, and Compensation.
Activities and strategies are repeated at each level so that students know the process and can apply it with different levels of two-digit subtraction equations. Minuends above 100 are also included so that students can practice subtracting across 100.
All the cards are in black and white. Print the cards on colored paper and laminate. Students use whiteboard markers to do the problems, erasing when done so that other students can use the same problems.
