Addition Go Fish Game
$4.00
Help students learn their addition facts while playing a fun game, Addition: Go Fish. The game is played with traditional Go Fish directions.
Make math practice fun and easy with this game of addition! Addition Go Fish is played with traditional Go Fish directions, and helps students learn their addition facts with sums up to 20. Students can match an expression with an answer, or two expressions together for a more challenging game.
Included are three versions of the game with the same expressions and answers.
- Version one has ten strips on each card to help students add the numbers.
- Versions two and three have no visual aid on the cards (just cute graphics)
Also included are sentence frames for students to use when playing the game. The sentence frames encourage students to tell the sum and the addends.
Students also have a recording sheet to record their “pairs” to be able to see and understand equality. The recording sheet is in color and grayscale. The grayscale version has fewer graphics on it.
In addition to Go Fish, these cards can be used for matching activities, such as matching equal number expressions or matching an expression with an answer. If students are new to learning their basic math facts, use the cards as a matching activity first, then introduce the game for additional practice.
